Hi, I'm Will! I'm a spaceflight and machine learning enthusiast currently based in North Carolina.

Occasionally, I find myself with the free time to take up work on interdisciplinary hobby projects, which I sometimes write about here.

Professionally, I have worked at two separate startups, writing servers and research code for AI-focused systems. I spent time at Charon Labs building multi-agent systems, researching and implementing techniques leveraging evolutionary algorithms to automate their design and deployment. After Charon Labs, I entered the SaaS industry, building AI products for commercial real estate at Planisphere.

My preferred languages for programming are Python and C++, and I have experience building with FastAPI, PyTorch, pybind11, Pydantic, and more. I enjoy writing algorithms to tackle tasks like parsing large datasets, and I am versed in building natural language and image datasets at scale. Using these datasets, I have trained small toy models based on the Transformer architecture as well as U-Net for diffusion. Although I've never worked in the field professionally, I am a huge fan of all things aviation and spaceflight, as well as software-defined radio and HAM radio.

I am enrolled at North Carolina State University, with the hope of completing a degree in physics.
